Han-Pijesak

Han-Pijesak nalazi se u istocnom dijelu Republike Srpske, na razvodju rijeka   Stupcanice i Zepe. Okruzena je visovima: Velikim Zepom 1537m, Javornikom 1219m,  Studenom Gorom 1149m  i Tresnjevcem 1245m. Ovakav geografski polozaj uslovio je zdravu planinsku klimu . Sam Han-Pijesak je na nadmorskoj visini od 1180m. Bujne cetinarske i listopadne sume doprinijele su da ovo mjesto postane poznata klimatska i vazdusna banja, jer po kolicini ozona zauzima  jedno od najznacajnih mjesta u Evropi.

 Han-Pijsak nalazi se na magistralnom putu koji ga povezuje sa centrima u Republici Srpskoj, Federaciji BiH i sire.

Han-Pijesak zauzima povrsinu od 320 km2. ima 25 naselja i 6.346 stanovnika prema popisu iz1991. god. Trenutno je broj stanovnika nesto manji od navedenog, ali kada se zavrsi proces povratka , koji je veoma intenziviran dostici ce nivo utvrdjen navedenim popisom.

Han-Pijesak spada u brdsko-planinska podrucja sa preko 1000. metara nadmorske visine. Sela su mala rasuta izmedju planina Javora, Devetaka i Zepa i vrlo su rijetko naseljena. Po  velicini i broju stanovnika  spada u male opstine sa 19,8 stanovnika po jednom km2.

 The town of Han Pijesak is located in the east part of Republic of Srpska, on the crossing of the rivers of Stupanica and Zepa. It's surrounded by the peaks: Veliki Zep 1537m Javornik 1219m, Studena Gora 1149m and Tresnjevac 1245m This type of geographical location created a healthy mountain climate. Han Pijesak itself is found on the height of 1180m. The huge conifer trees and evergreen forests contributed so that this place becomes famouse climate and air spa,because by the amount of ozone it takes up one of the most important places in Europe.
The town of Han Pijesak is found on the main road which connects it to the central cities of The Republic of Srpska, The Federation of BiH and the wider area.
Han Pijesak takes the area of 320 km2. It has 25 communities and it's population is 6.346 people acording to the data from 1991. Curently the population number is a bit lower from the one mentioned, but when the process of reurn , which is very intensified it's going to reach the number first mentioned.
The town of Han Pijesak is part of the mountain area with more than 1000 meters of height above sea level. The villages are small and scattered between the mountain Javor, Devetak and Zepa and they are rarely populated. This town due to it's size and the number of people leaving in it falls into smaller towns. 19,8 inhabitants to one km2.
